Dr. White is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and Independent Medical Examiner, as well as, an Expert Medical Examiner for the State of Florida. He has been practicing in Cape Coral, Florida in excess of thirty years. Although he received an appointment to the US Military Academy at West Point, Dr. White chose to attend the University of Pittsburgh on a full athletic football scholarship and he graduated with a B.S. degree with full honors. He attended Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, followed by a year doing orthopedic research at UCLA before entering his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh. He then moved to Cape Coral in 1979 where he continues to practice today. Besides orthopedics, Dr. White has a keen interest in German, travel and photography.
Dr. White devotes his entire medical practice to treating work related injuries, peer reviews, second opinions and rendering expert medical opinions on causation as it relates to orthopedic injuries. His opinions are formulated on evidenced based medicine to the extent that science will allow. He has rendered his expert professional opinions for both defense and plaintiff personal injury attorneys in Florida Circuit Courts and Federal District Courts of Florida, as well as, Social Security Administration, Longshoremen, Workers Compensation and the Department of Veterans' Affairs for the Australian Government.
